GTS is looking for highly motivated Designers to join us in our Guangzhou, China office. We look for candidates that a well versed in industry tools and will be counted on to contribute original ideas/designs. This role will report to our Creative Director and will work closely with the product, marketing and sales team.
You love your art, graphic design is your passion, you love to illustrate and solve problems using visual design solutions. You like fashion and sportswear, if you are a sneaker freak it’s a big plus. In this role you will be part of a diverse team of product designer, graphic designers, copywriters and project managers, creating design concepts, illustrations, patterns, logo and design systems for print and digital applications. You will work independently as well in a team, conducting researches, formulating ideas through mood boards and presentations and work for a pool of international clients.
Create brand voice and character documents and maintain brand sizing charts. Maintain brand biographies for all brand pages. Create and maintain descriptive biographies for various categories. Write and proofread online product descriptions, content and copy, maintaining the highest level of quality.
GTS works across both performance and lifestyle on mid level product bringing the best of the brand to the consumer at key price points. As a Senior Designer at GTS, you will be tasked to execute new and original statement level products that drive a category aesthetic and align with the overall brand creative direction. You will have an integral role in helping set category design vision. You will be responsible for applying your strong design, color, material, innovative thinking, and technical experience to athletic footwear. You will be responsible for creating products, technologies and developing concepts that continue to advance GTS product performance and aesthetics.
As a Color and Trend Designer you will be responsible for applying color and graphics to create dynamic product. You will assist in creating seasonal color palettes that will be used across the brand. You will research market trends and create inspiration boards to share with the design team. You will work with the design, development, and product management to help ensure color and materials fit within the creative vision for the brand. You will be responsible for the application of color and materials on footwear products within a specific business unit. As a member of the GTS design team you are helping to realize brand’s future.
As a Footwear Designer 2 you will be responsible for designing product that meets the category needs and aligns with the overall brand creative direction. Tasks and responsibilities include consumer research, concept sketching, bio-mechanics engineering, concept visualization, 2D/3D drawing and execution. You will be responsible for keeping up to date on competitor products, consumer habits and market trends. You will work closely with the design, development, and product management to communicate ideas and create inspiring products based on consumer insight and marketing briefs.
